With this knowledge, you’ll be able to create user-centric designs that resonate with your audience. You'll also learn how to conduct usability testing, making your digital products more accessible to diverse populations and environments.

Delve into UX fundamentals such as competitive analysis

To help you build a strong foundation of knowledge, you’ll delve into UX fundamentals such as competitive analysis and creating personas. 

This exploration will help you understand the competitive landscape and make informed design decisions to help set your projects apart.

You’ll also explore the full range of concepts in the design process – from research and testing to design thinking and rapid prototyping. 

To cement your skills, you’ll create the foundation of an app through a lean UX process of rapid prototyping and ideation.

Learn key product management skills

As a UX designer, you'll work closely with product teams and therefore, collaboration and product management skills are key. 

On the bootcamp, you’ll learn how to work effectively with developers, evaluate technical constraints, and contribute to the overall success of digital products.

You’ll also build interpersonal skills in creative confidence and conversational storytelling to develop your portfolio and get industry-ready.

Translate your design skills into professional client engagement 

In the real world, you will need to foster lasting relationships with clients in a way that promotes loyalty and brand awareness. 

This bootcamp will prepare you for this challenge by providing you with the tools and knowledge to manage clients, deliver UX research, and create designs that meet both business and user goals.

You’ll also learn how to advise stakeholders on changing operating procedures and workflows to deliver on new product experiences.

To finish the bootcamp, you’ll work with your General Assembly career coach to identify the traits that make you unique as a designer to help you start your UX career with confidence.

For your capstone project, you’ll translate the culmination of your design skills into a professional client engagement.
