Week one explores various teaching contexts.
From Behaviourism to Cognitivism, there are many different learning theories in the field of education, all aimed at improving how students learn.
This course aims to help you develop your understanding of learning theories, giving you the opportunity to reflect on and share your views and preconceptions about learning.

You’ll start week two by looking at assessment and how you can support students to understand the purpose and requirements of their assignments.
Then, you’ll discuss the different types of assessment, including formative and summative approaches, and how these can contribute to students’ learning.
The aim of feedback in education is to help students improve their learning, so it’s important to ensure that it works for your students.
